I'm designing the game chiefly for controllers, though I'll support mouse & keyboard as well. I stopped using mice a long time ago, because if you use them enough, you will get RSI, and I don't want to injure my players. It's true that m+k is more accurate, but The Hit will be less about how good you are at aiming a cursor, and more about how good you are at deciding when and how to do so.
